The story is almost from the christian bible. Things that are different, such as the Noah family are "bad" guys.
In this anime, there are some changes a bit there and here..
One of the things, i can say is, the exorcists in this anime are going around bringing salvation to the akuma and saving people, which is the same as what is happening in our world where we the children, sons and daughters of God are going around preaching the gospel and save the children who still in the dark, which brings salvation to their life.

What i say here, is not exactly what is about in this anime, as there is more about what i said above.
SO MUST WATCH!!!!!=P
